About Us
Wojtusik, Smith & Associates was founded in 1986. After graduation from Florida State University, Mary T. Smith and her son, David Wojtusik worked side by side to build a business that would care about their clients and strive to give them the best coverage available with top rated carriers. The agency was a multi line agency selling commercial, personal and life products. The business grew over the years and our reputation for honesty and integrity grew as well.
In 1998, Mary retired from the insurance agency and David decided to specialize in personal lines coverage. The agency was then renamed Wojtusik, Smith & Associates Personal Lines Insurance Agency. David saw the need for a targeted approach to personal needs of clients. David has developed the personal lines agency over the years and insures everything from condominiums to high value dwellings that are hard to insure. David is one of the few agents in the state with these exclusive programs.
Companies represented (in alphabetical order) are: AIG Private Client Group, American Superior, Citizens / FWUA, CHUBB Insurance Company, Florida Preferred (southern family), Progressive Insurance, Safeco Insurance Company, and Tower Hill Insurance Group. These companies are amongst the highest rated and most respected companies in the industry.
David is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), and a 9 time winner of the Safeco Insurance award of excellence, 7 time winner of the Insurance Achievement Award. He is active in industry events and is committed to growing and maintaining the BEST Personal Lines Insurance Agency in the State of Florida.
